The CWA (Championships Wrestling Association) has announced the lineup for their first ever wrestling event set to go down on June 15th.
Matchups:
Micky Phillippi vs Nahshon Garrett
Evan Henderson vs Mitch Finesilver
Joey Lavalle vs Ethan Lizak
Mike Evans vs Rick Durso
Trent Hidlay vs Matt Finesilver
Jordan Wood vs Demetrius Thomas
Notes:
Some interesting matchups here, Phillippi vs Garrett should be a fun one to watch, Jordan Wood vs Demetrius Thomas as well should be close.
Mike Evans was a 3x All American for the Iowa Hawkeyes and graduated all the way back in 2015, Rick Durso wrestled for Franklin and Marshall where he was an All American in 2014 and compiled a 76-15 career record.
Joey Lavalle vs Ethan Lizak is going to be very interesting as Lizak competed at the 125 and 133 pound weight class during his time at Minnesota and is much bigger now.
It should be nice to see Evan Henderson and Trent Hidlay back in action competing against two of the Finesilver brothers.
