The Poway Wrestling instagram page recently announced Robert Platt will be continuing their wrestling and academic career at Columbia University.
Platt is a California wrestler who has earned a state championship as well as a record of 45 wins with only 3 losses as of his junior year in high school.
According to Platt his decision towards committing to Columbia come from the campus as well as the other wrestlers along with the internships and job opportunities presented in the heart of New York City.
Platt is looking forward to experiencing the college lifestyle and New York City in general as well as making friendships while at the same time getting an Ivy League degree.
