John Smith

John Smith is a 6x world and Olympic champion freestyle wrestler for the United States. For a long period of time he was considered the greatest American wrestler of all time winning 6 straight gold medals until dethroned by Jordan Burroughs.

Smith was a very accomplish collegiate wrestler as well winning 2 national titles and making 3 finals appearances. He competed in the 134 pound weight class and 62kg internationally.

John’s brother Pat Smith was a very dominant wrestler as well being the first wrestlers to ever win 4 division 1 national titles in college.

Now Smith is the head coach of the Oklahoma State wrestling team where he has had tremendous success throughout his career leading the team to 5 national titles as well as 33 individual champs.
